OUR STORY

A Dream that Connects Two Worlds

Founded on May 28, 2010, the Chinese Cultural and Educational Center of Costa Rica (CCECC) is a private non-profit institution dedicated to teaching Mandarin and promoting traditional Chinese culture. Established and funded by eight Chinese residents in Costa Rica, the Center operates under the direct guidance of the Chinese Embassy and with the support of distinguished academics and experts from both China and Costa Rica, including professors from Renmin University and Beijing Language and Culture University.

Since its inception, CCECC has worked with the mission of "benefiting local descendants," integrating Chinese language and culture education into the Costa Rican community and strengthening the bonds of friendship between China and Costa Rica. Currently, it is the only official Chinese language teaching institution in Costa Rica accredited by the country's Ministry of Education.
